Designer left and sent over dozens of layered PSD files. I just need to see what they look like and export flat images, no editing. Photoshop is not installed and I do not want a subscription for viewing. Options?

Viewing and flattening PSDs is easy without Photoshop.

1
Free full editors that open PSD: GIMP and Photopea (browser based) both read layers and export PNG or JPG.
2
Just want to browse thumbnails: IrfanView with its plugins, or a dedicated PSD viewer, shows the flattened image fast across a whole folder.
3
Batch export a folder to flat images: a PSD viewer tool with batch convert saves every file to PNG in one pass, handy for handover archives.

Photopea for the few I needed to inspect layers on, batch tool for flattening the rest. Solved.
