After restoring from two overlapping backups my inbox shows almost everything twice, sometimes three times. Tens of thousands of messages. Manual cleanup is out of the question. How do I dedupe this properly?

SysTools Outlook Duplicates Remover scans the mailbox and matches on sender, subject, date and body so near-copies with different read flags still get caught. You choose which copy survives and duplicates can go to Deleted Items or a review folder rather than vanishing outright.
Run it folder by folder the first time. Doing the whole mailbox blind on the first pass is how people delete the wrong copy of something important.
41,000 duplicates gone with the review folder as a safety net. Mailbox is sane again. Solved.
